Our second stay at Frog Mill Barn to fit in with a visit to Ludlow Medieval Fayre.  Enjoyed Stokesay Castle and lighting up of Bridgnorth. Hopefully we will be back next year and stay in this wonderful barn.

The barn was perfect for our needs and well stocked with everything we wanted. ideal location for getting to Bridgnorth or Ironbridge by car and provided the best starting point for morning walks in the fields and woods nearby.

We had a lovely shoret break having decided to stay for a few days after our children compete in the Wenloch Olympian Games. (The games the the modern Olympics were based on.). There are many beautiful and historic places to visit in the area.  Ironbridge is very picturesque and several museums (15 minutes).  Much Wenloch is a small quaint town (15 minutes).  Bridgnorth has numerous pretty streets, several fights of steps from higher to lower parts and a vertical railway.  Slightly further afield is Church Stretton at the foot of The Longmynd: Great wallking up Carding Mill Valley and the benefit of a National Trust Cafe (35 minutes). Lovely cottage, lovely area.  Thank you Anna.

As seasoned self-caterers this is on the of the best places we have ever stayed in.  Richard and Anna are perfect hosts and the welcome pack was a lovely surprise - thank you very much!  We've had a really good break but not long enough so we'll just have to come back again - hopefully reasonably soon!

Frog Mill Barn is just fantastic and has everything you need - you certainly have thought of everything. After a rainy start we had some fantastic weather and managed to visit Blist Hill, Tar Tunne, Apley farm and Scotty's donkeys and Ludlow.

We can't really put into words what  wonderful time we have had here, so many things to see and do.  Our favourite time was a walk round the nearby field each evening spotting deer and hares, sunsets and much more.

Magical week - the conversion of the barn is brilliant and it works for family or visitors. Great walks on Severn Way to Coalport and excellent local beer.   Sloes, damsons, elderberries and blackberries nearby. Thank you to Richard and Anna for being such welcoming hosts.  We'll be back!
