Pet policies
We accept one or two well-behaved dogs in Frog Mill Barn.  Unfortunately we are unable to accept cats.
Frog Mill Barn is part of Colemore Farm, a working smallholding.  Some areas of the farm have barbed wire and electric fences to control our animals.  Electric fences are clearly signed and will be pointed out to you on arrival.
Dogs may be kept in the living areas of Frog Mill Barn, but are not allowed on the beds.  (We do not have kennels.)  Frog Mill Barn has its own dedicated garden with fencing and gates, where dogs are free to roam without leads.  You are welcome to bring throws or towels to protect furniture and rugs in Frog Mill Barn.  However, the barn is generally furnished and equipped with dogs in mind.
Dogs should be kept on leads at all times when not in Frog Mill Barn or the garden.
The additional charge for each dog covers accommodation for the dog, use of bowls, towels, scoop and disposal bags, etc, provided by us as well as normal levels of additional cleaning required as a result of accepting dogs in the barn.  The charge does not cover food or other incidentals.
We provide biodegradable disposal bags that should be used for disposal of dog waste and flushed down the toilets.  Please do not use the regular refuse bins for disposal of dog waste.
Pet food may be pre-ordered on request, for which a small charge will be made.
Any damage caused by your dog is covered by our standard breakages deposit.  We reserve the right to withold a reasonable amount from the deposit for any additional cleaning, damage or breakage caused by your dog.

Pet Friendly Accommodation

Colemore Farm accept one or two well-behaved dogs in Frog Mill Barn.  Unfortunately we are unable to accept cats.

Dogs may be kept in the living areas of Frog Mill Barn, but we ask you not to let your dogs upstairs. Frog Mill Barn has its own dedicated garden with fencing and gates, where dogs are free to roam without leads.  You are welcome to bring throws or towels to protect furniture and rugs in Frog Mill Barn. However, the barn is generally furnished and equipped with dogs in mind.

Frog Mill Barn is part of a working smallholding.  The farm has animals, ponds, brooks and other agricultural hazards. We also use barbed wire and electric fences to control our animals.  Electric fences are clearly signed and will be pointed out to you on arrival. It is therefore essential that dogs should be kept on leads at all times when not in Frog Mill Barn or the garden.

There are excellent walks for dogs from Frog Mill Barn itself and further afield.  We have a good selection of leaflets, maps and books, including the local "Walking with Boomerang" walk books, written specifically for dog owners.  We also provide a list of good quality pubs that are happy to take dogs, as well as local attractions that welcome dogs.

The additional charge for each dog covers accommodation for the dog, use of bowls, towels, scoop and disposal bags, etc, which we provide, as well as normal levels of additional cleaning required as a result of accepting dogs in the barn. The charge does not cover food or other incidentals.

Any damage caused by your dog is covered by our standard damage deposit.  We reserve the right to withhold a reasonable amount from the deposit for any additional cleaning, damage or breakage caused by your dog.
